Women Marines 65th Anniversary in the Corps 1943 - 2008

Women Marines Association

The WMA is a civilian non-profit veterans association comprised of women who have served or are serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps regular or reserve components.

Since 1918, American women have answered their country's call to serve. We have served proudly with distinction and honor; each generation evolving but always retaining our proud traditions.

The Marines at MATSG-53 are putting on the 2nd Annual M4 Memorial Run and we would like to encourage anyone in the area to join us or to make a journey to the wonderful Whidbey Island for a fun weekend. The run will be 23 August, dedicated to the life of Major Megan Malia McClung and all those wounded or killed inaction in the Global War on Terrorism. It is an observance of their sacrifice and to their strength and commitment to this nation. Click here for more information.

The bond and camaraderie shared by those who have gone through the training to become a UNITED STATES MARINE are ever prevalent among all women Marines -- they know no generational boundaries. We are all MARINES.
