WOMEN MARINES we are teaming up with another VSO – we’ll have a BRING YOUR OWN KAYAK (“BYOK”) June 17 at 0645. We will not have equipment for you. Meet/launch at the NORTH RAMP located just north & within Pleasant Harbor. Veterans park for FREE with ID at Pleasant Harbor. Come early for launch and parking. After, we’re eating breakfast at Dillon’s Bayou at 0900. Suggestion, rent your kayak the night before at Peoria Kayak Rentals (602-777-0381) & bring it to the lake if you have the means. We cannot rent at the lake at 7am. NORTH RAMP map in this thread. Bring your own life vests too… NORTH RAMP launch site has limited parking, otherwise you walk up the hill to the big lot on Pleasant Drive.
