WMA LEADS BY EXAMPLE THROUGH VOLUNTEER WORK

Volunteering is ultimately about helping and serving others that positively impacts your community, the elderly, Veterans, and those less fortunate. The dedication and commitment to service is a core characteristic of all Marines and part of the esprit de corps, which references a ‘positive group spirit’ and captures the camaraderie, enthusiasm, and devotion of women Marines. As a WMA volunteer, you can utilize the leadership you’ve gained to participate and lead various volunteer opportunities.

We believe that the power of one is great but the collective power of many is enormous. The experience of volunteering can bring about the learning of a new skill or sharing a passion that you have. WMA volunteers play an essential role in everything from planning and organizing a food drive or fundraiser, to planting trees. No matter where you live, there are plenty of ways to get involved.
