TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED FOR ONLINE TRANSACTIONS AND HOW IT IS USED

Women Marines Association (WMA) is pleased to provide information to its members and website users about its online privacy policy for merchandise sales. Please be assured that WMA uses its best efforts to protect the privacy of visitors to this Web site. WMA values your privacy. We will never lease, sell, give, or otherwise disseminate your email address or other confidential information to any party. We will at times send you information to keep you informed as to billings, status reports, or policies that may affect you. WMA gathers personal information, such as first and last names, home addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers and credit card numbers, only when voluntarily submitted by you. Some types of transactions where information may be collected from you include purchasing WMA merchandise, applying for membership, or renewing membership. Personal information will be collected from you in order to process these transactions only. With your permission, we will use personal information collected from you to process your transaction only. Credit Card information is not retained by WMA.

SHARING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Companies may be engaged by WMA to perform a variety of functions, such as assisting with merchandise payment, dues payment, providing technical services for our Internet sites, etc. Such companies may have access to personal information if needed to perform certain functions. However, these companies may use such personal information only for the purpose of performing that function and may not use it for any other purpose. Other than as provided in this privacy policy, WMA does not sell, transfer or disclose personal information to third parties.

WMA reserves the right to use or disclose any information as needed to satisfy any law, regulation or legal request, to protect the integrity of the site, to fulfill your requests, or to cooperate in any law enforcement investigation or an investigation on a public safety matter.

INTERNET MERCHANDISE POLICY CHANGES

From time to time, it may be necessary for WMA to change its internet merchandise policy, so we suggest that you check here periodically. Changes will not be retroactively applied and will not alter how we handle previously collected information. Our refund / cancellation policy is as follows: Membership Refunds will not be granted for payment of membership dues to the Women Marines Association. If you have a problem with your membership please contact the membership secretary at MSec@womenmarines.org

MERCHANDISE REFUND/EXCHANGE

If you are not completely satisfied with your merchandise, items may be exchanged or refunded. Items must be returned within 30 days from the date that we shipped them to you. Refunds will be issued 7 -10 business days after we receive returned items. Shipping and handling charges and insurance cannot be refunded. Items that have been personalized cannot be refunded or exchanged. Be sure that your personalization is correct.

When exchanging merchandise, please include new product description(s) and numbers(s), and shipping and handling charges for your new order.

We will not charge shipping on items exchanged due to manufacturer defect.

CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel an order, please notify us via e-mail: sales@womenmarines.org within 24 hours after you placed the order.
