HELPING EVERY
MARINE REACH HER TRUE POTENTIAL
They say “the few, the proud.” We are the fewer. The proud women of the U.S. Marine Corps. We were born to fight for our country, for the courageous women who came before us, and for the many firsts to follow. We are active duty Marines. Working professionals. Storied veterans. We are WMA, where women find Strength Beyond the Corps.

As individuals, we thrive, but we’ve learned the hard way that none of us are as strong as all of us. Join WMA and be a part of a proud community of Marines and FMF sailors. We are united by our past, we are working together to honor the women who served before us and empower those who will follow.
Membership is open to women who serve or have served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps or the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. FMF US Navy to include Corpsman, Medical Officers, Chaplains, and Religious Program Specialists AND must have earned the Warfare Device/Service Ribbon with the Marine Corps device.
“WMA has been a great help in keeping alive the history of what we women have done. It encourages women entering the Corps to set and reach higher goals, furthering the acceptance and utilization of women in the Marine Corps. Through its local chapters, WMA has given women in the Marine Corps, active and retired, a home port.”
