MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT Parris Island, S.C. – MCRD PI will host a series of events Nov. 1 – 4, 2018 celebrating the 32nd Anniversary of 4th Recruit Training Battalion and the centennial marking 100 years of women serving in the Marine Corps.
Schedule of events is as follows:

– 7:45 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. Marine Corps Color Ceremony and performance by the MCRD PI Band
– 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Recruit Graduation for Companies O and M
– 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Tram Tour of Parris Island (Meet at Parris Island Museum)
– 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Walking Tour of 4th BN (Meet at building 933)
– 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Library of Congress Veterans History Project Interviews

– 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Warrior Dinner: Meal / Slideshow (Invitation Only)

– 6 a.m. – 7 a.m. 4th BN Field Meet Registration (Bldg 933)
– 7 a.m. – 8 a.m. Field Meet: 3-Mile Fun-Run (4th BN PT Field)
– 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. Field Meet: Strength Competition (Push-ups, Pullups, Ammo-Lifts, Flexed Arm Hang)
– 9 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Field Meet: Obstacle Course Competition
– 9:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Field Meet: Tug-of-War
– 9:45 a.m. – 10 a.m. Awards / Closing Remarks
