Recently in one of our groups the Women Marines Association held a MRE “Chopped” Challenge and we had a clear winner!
Mary S. of West Virginia sent in her entry and walked away with a WMA gift pack.
Mary described her meal this way.
I used the roast beef and vegetables MRE. The peanut butter, hot cocoa, coffee and creamer were mixed with Neufchâtel cheese and some sugar to make a cheesecake. I used the oatmeal cookie and bread slice to make the crust using butter and sugar to bind. The blueberry cobbler was used as a topping. For the main course, I used the beef roast packet mixed with garlic cream of mushroom soup as a “sauce “ for gnocchi. Garlic roasted asparagus and whole wheat bolillo roll accompanied. Served with red wine.
