CA-2 – San Diego County
February 9th was the luncheon for the 76th Anniversary of the USMC Women’s Reserves. Members of CA-2 joined CA-7 to celebrate the anniversary. A lovely luncheon was followed by a message from our National President, Rhonda Amtower and a presentation on Sgt Reckless, a hero who served in Korea.
Members rode with the Marine Corps League in a Humvee on March 16th in the St Patrick’s Day Parade. Also on that day, the Silent Drill Platoon, the US Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, and the Marine Corps Color Guard from 8th & I performed at MCRD San Diego.
Ruth Gallivan celebrated her 103rd birthday on April 1!
